Porn Yoga is a practice-based approach to masturbating where we place part of our attention on the porn and part on the sustained sexual arousal in our bodies. The immediate result is increased feelings of pleasure. Over time, this erotic practice offers us the opportunity to make profound and meaningful changes by integrating sexual arousal into our bodies and our lives. Porn Yoga is an effective strategy to break old habits and learn new ways of being sexual.

Intention

State your intention as you begin your Porn Yoga session. A clear intention guides your practice and negates shame.
 
Your intention can be quite simple. “I want to enjoy myself while watching porn” is a good place to start. 

Here are some other possible intentions:

“I want to feel more in my body while I masturbate.”
“I want what is erotically possible for me.”
“I want to explore feeling myself fully when I orgasm.” 
“I want to play with my arousal.” 

When you set off on a journey, you have an intention about where you are going. That intention guides you, and helps you arrive where you mean to go. The same is true with sexuality. If you don’t know where you are going, it’s easy to get lost. Speaking an intention before beginning your erotic practice helps guide your explorations.

As in any practice, standing and moving will take a few sessions or a few weeks before you learn get into the flow of this new way of playing with arousal.

Bring your attention away from the porn to your own body for five breaths. Scan your body for the places of most pleasure. Then return your attention to the porn. (Pause the porn during these five breaths, if you wish.)

By moving your attention from the porn, to your body and then back to the porn, you are able to sense and savor your arousal in new ways. 

Notice how each person in the video brings attention to their body for five breaths in different ways. There is no one way to place your attention inside your own body. See what feels good to you.
